Ingredients
Instructions
-
First, brown the ground beef until almost cooked through. Drain the excess fat.
-
Add the onion, red bell pepper and corn (if using) and cook until hamburger is completely cooked and veggies are a bit soft.
-
Next, add in the chili seasoning packet and stir until well mixed.
-
Drain the liquid from the kidney beans, black beans and pinto beans. Empty beans into meat mixture.
-
Do not drain the liquid from the tomatoes or chili beans. Empty the tomatoes and chili beans into the meat mixture and stir well.
-
Simmer the chili on medium-low to low heat for 20-25 minutes.
-
Top with cheese, sour cream and fritos (or choose your own favorite toppings)! Serve with a side of cornbread. Be sure to check out my recipe! Enjoy!
Leftovers can be stored in closed container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
