Cherry Pineapple Dump Cake
Description
This easy dessert is made with only four ingredients: cherry filling, crushed pineapple and a box cake mix and butter. You can change it up by adding your favorite fresh or canned fruit.
Ingredients
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 350°. Take a 9x13 baking dish and butter or spray cooking spray to the bottom and sides.
-
Empty a can of cherry pie filling (or your favorite) into pan, spreading evenly.
-
Next, pour a can of crushed pineapple over the cherry filling. Do not drain the pineapple.
-
Empty a dry cake mix, either yellow or white on top of the fruit.
-
Evenly distribute the dry cake mix over the fruit, using a fork to press down gently.
-
Thinly slice a stick (1/2 C) of butter and place the pats over the cake mix.
-
Bake the cake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until the top of the cake is golden brown and you do not see any uncooked dry cake mix. Let cool a few minutes.
It tastes great alone, with ice cream or whipped cream! Enjoy!
